Sacramento River fishing report 12/25/2022

The Sacramento River late fall salmon fishing has been fair to good I would say, yes it’s not easy but if you make the right moves you will be rewarded by some big world class Sacramento River king salmon! We have been averaging a couple to 4 a day, the season ends December 31st, we got a good storm coming in so you better get out there the next few days to get that king salmon. I want to thank everyone that fished king salmon with me this season, it wasn’t easy at all but we made the best of it. Every year is different, I will start fishing king salmon on August 1st through December 31st next season. Peak time is mid august through October 17th, make sure you get your dates on the calendar for next year.
