The Trinity River has great fishing just 40 minutes outside of Redding, and is one of my favorite fisheries. This river produces big numbers of Steelhead. Catching up to 10 - 20 steelhead a day is not uncommon. The Trinity River has multiple put-ins, allowing us to chase the migrations.

This River is a true beauty with its snow capped mountains and crisp air. You can also enjoy all of wildlife you will see. Once you fish this river it will be a memorable trip that keeps you coming back year after year. At 165 miles long, the trinity is the biggest tributary of the Klamath River. The Trinity River is a designated National wild and Scenic River.

The Trinity River has strong runs of king salmon starting in July through the end of October , then the steelhead arrive in October. With the best time being November through March for steelhead. The Trinity River is open year round. The fly fishing only water is open April 1st - September 15th. This river is a favorite for most clients we use drift boats to fish the Trinity River. we fish from old Lewiston bridge down through Junction City/Willow Creek.
