Sacramento River King Salmon fishing opens July 16th: We are expecting the highest numbers of Salmon in years. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife increased the daily limit to 2 fish per person. We are going to see good numbers of 3 to 4 year old fish that are going to be 15-30lb fish. Others being much bigger. Northern California fishing guides and anglers are getting ready for a great 2019 Salmon season in the Northern California. We are booking King Salmon Charter trips now. we will start fishing in July. All you need is a fishing license/drinks/snacks. My boat will fish up to 6 anglers with plenty of room. Lower Sac Trout Fishing : Northern California Trout fishing in Redding. This river is packed with big fat heathy native Rainbow Trout. Fishing is the best you will find. The fish are in perfect shape right now. We have been fishing with Pauske cured Salmon eggs. The fish eat this stuff like its candy. the fishing will be great through the summer. There is never a bad time to Trout fish here. Flows are at 10,000 cfs this is perfect for this time of year.
