Sacramento River Salmon Fishing Guide Report June 21st 2020
Sacramento River Salmon fishing guide report: 2020 Salmon season starts July 16th, runs through December 30th. We have a 2 fish limit. All you need is a fishing license, your snacks and drinks for the day. Leave the rest up to us. The flows out of Shasta dam are at 12,200 cfS thats a lot of cold water. That will get those King Salmon charging up the Sacramento River in big numbers. I’m excited to get after these hard fighting fish. This is one of my favorite fish to go after!
As of now we are fishing the Sac River in and around the Redding CA area for Wild Rainbow Trout. There is never a bad time to fish the Sac River for Rainbows. As most of you know that have fished with me.
We have also been spending time on Shasta lake. Its been fishing really well with a few slower days here and there. We are putting a lot of meat in the coolers by the days end. This is a good choice if your wanting to catch and keep your fish. Thats whats going on here in Northern California.
