Sacramento River trout/steelhead Fishing, it’s like a broken record the fishing continues to fish really well from Redding to the Anderson area. We have been getting 20 to 30 fish a day side drifting egg patterns, these fish can be really picky at times so choosing the right egg is what needs to happen to put fish in the net all day long! We will be running Sacramento River trout/steelhead trips until July 16th then I will be switching to king salmon on the Sacramento River. We will start fishing the red bluff area all of July through august. We are expecting a really good king salmon season on the Sacramento River this year. So now is the time to look at your calendar and book those dates. Don’t wait until the last minute. We will be drifting roe or running plugs to catch lots of Sacramento River king salmon. The daily salmon limit on the Sacramento River is 2 king salmon per person. So book now for the 2022 Sacramento River king salmon season.
