Trinity river fishing report! 1/17/2022

Trinity river continues to produce very good fishing, we are getting limits to near limits of hatchery fish every day out with lots of wild or so called wild fish. The flows/cfs are at 550 , these are perfect flows. We are in a dry weather pattern for awhile. So the river is clearing to a gin clear color. This will make things a bit of a challenge. We will start to see some big fish any day.

The lower Sacramento River in the Redding ca area is fishing really well both fly fishing or spin fishing. Now is the time to get your dates booked for this spring time fishing. If you want to experience this world class fishery I suggest you give the Sacramento River a shot. You definitely won’t be disappointed.
