October 27,2021 Sacramento River fishing report

The Sacramento River in Redding ca, is fishing really well. With this last rain storm we had it definitely put some color in the water. It has triggered these wild rainbow trout/steelhead in to high gear eating protein filled eggs that the Sacramento River king salmon are laying in the gravel. We are doing both fly fishing or spin fishing trips for trout /steelhead fishing in Redding ca.

down lower near the Battle Creek area the water was blown out for a few days, it definitely got a good flushing down there, this will bring up more late fall salmon a lot sooner then we have saw in the past few years. The Sacramento River steelhead are here, we are going to start having some really good steelhead fishing any day!! We are fishing for both salmon and steelhead in the same day.
