Sacramento River Fishing Report May 24TH 2021- The Sac River is fishing incredible! With plenty of bent rods all day long. Over sized Wild Rainbow Trout/Steelhead. Both fly fishing or spin fishing is doing good. Trout fishing is a must do. Its a great fishery for all ages, experienced anglers or beginners just getting started. There isn’t really a slow day on the Sacramento River fishing for Wild Rainbow Trout. We are starting to book for King Salmon on the Sacramento River. Salmon season will open July 16th through December 30th. We will start Salmon season July 16th. Now is the time to get your dates on the calendar. Don’t wait until the last minute to book. We will mostly be drifting special cured roe/eggs. The Sacramento River Kings can’t resist. We also back bouncing/ side drifting eggs/ or bobber fishing eggs. We won’t get stuck in the old ways. Best fishing is working with the elements and making sure our clients enjoy their day. We will be fishing out of my 26’ tiller boat with plenty of room and comfort for 6 anglers. All of my rods are G.loomis, with Shimano reels. We run nothing but the best. Now is the time to book for Sacramento River King Salmon,

Shasta lake has been fishing really good from the bridge bay area to Shasta Dam, trolling spoons or Brads cut plugs from 40 to 60 feet at 2.5 mph, its only going to get better. If you want to fill up a ice chest of Shasta lake trout/salmon its a good time to do so.
