The Trout fishing in Redding CA. has been nothing short of amazing! We are having 30 to 50 fish days every day. With no sign of it slowing down. Every one is pretty shocked by the end of the day, at how amazing the fishing is on the Sacramento River. It is a trip you will remember forever. This is and always will be my favorite place to take clients fishing. I know by the end of the day every one is going to have a good time. We are side drifting or bobber dogging specal cured Pautzke bait eggs. We will continue to fish the sac river in the Redding to Cottonwood area. We will start King Salmon season on the Sacramento River on July 16th through December 30th. The King Salmon limit on the Sacramento River is 2 per person. We are expecting a good season and are getting excited to start. We will have plenty of water in the river. The drought we are in will have no effect on this years Salmon season. We will be fishing the Red-bluff to Corning area from July through September. Then we will move up river as needed. Now is the time to book your fishing trips for Sacramento River King Salmon.
