May 7th Sac River wild rainbow trout fishing is red hot

I was back in Redding on the sacramento river fishing for wild rainbow trout today. The first drift we made we were on a double hook up they peeled line off the reels and fish were jumping while I was trying to get to the net. The day went that way until we called it a day. these fish are a lot of fun to catch and there are lots and lots of them. We had 30 to 35 of these big bows in the net by days end. We will be fishing them hard until our king salmon season starts in July. we are going to have lots of salmon this year on the sac river. So book your trips now to get on our boats.
