Giant Sacramento River king salmon 11/28/2021

Today we put a big one in the net, this Sacramento River king was 32 lbs on the scale, we get lots of 15 to 20 lb fish but it’s nice to see a true 32 lb fish on the scale. Yes there is lots of fish this class and a lot bigger in the Sacramento River, it’s just nice to put these big ones in the net. I have been working hard for every bite so far. When it does happen it makes you respect these fish even more! I’m starting to see a good amount of steelhead around, so I will be focusing some of my time on them in the days ahead. Pretty cool to be able to catch big king salmon and 8 to 10 lb steelhead in the same day on the Sacramento River in Northern California!!
