Sacramento River king salmon and steelhead fishing, today I had long time clients less and his boy Patrick, we started our day off with a beautiful ride down the foggy river watching the sun rise it was pretty special. We got to our first stop and lowered our freshly wrapped kwick fish in the river. We watched bald eagles fly over our heads and wild turkeys in the background putting and doing there thing. Then Patrick had a big king on his line and the fight was on. Long story short we lost the first two king salmon. But we kept our chins up and shortly after Patrick put a big 25lb king in the net. Then we decided to go after some steelhead. We hooked a good one that jumped a few times and come off. It was just one of those days. We ended up getting a nice hatchery steelhead for dinner.
